, The Arc of York County offers a no-cost, eight-week digital literacy course for adults with intellectual disabilities. The course, offered three times per year, assists people with intellectual disabilities to become a more active part of the south central Pennsylvania community. In addition, possessing stronger computer skills helps people with disabilities become more employable and gives them more access to community information.
The classes teach basic computer information such as Microsoft Office, how to set-up email, social media, and how to navigate the internet.
Eight week sessions are being offered the following times:
- Fall Session- October 24- December 12 ***(Registration Closed)
- Winter Session- February 6- March 27
- Spring Session- May 1- June 19
Classes are offered one evening per week from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Arc of York County. Participants must register for the sessions in advance.
