Human Resources Specialist - Full-time
The Arc of York County is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to assist the Executive Director program administration duties and HR administration duties.  Knowledge of business and secretarial practices and procedures required to keep various office operations running appropriately, timely, efficiently and effectively.  Must have ability to operate standard office equipment; dealing with a wide range of behaviors of the public; on-line research techniques; standard office software applications for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, email and internet research.
 
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED; prefer a related one or two-year degree, and a minimum of two years of human resources experience required.  Must be able to pass all required background checks.


Administrative Assistant - Full-time 
The Arc of York County is seeing an Administrative Assistant to help organize a fast growing non-profit organization.  We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and team-oriented person who has experience handling administrative tasks, front desk operations, and customer service.
 
Skills and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, copiers VOIP phone systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

After School Options Aides - Part-time

The Arc of York County is seeking After School Options Aides for our new Red Lion, PA location.  The Arc of York County's After School Options program provides direct service to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Red Lion area.  This service includes leisure activities as well as goal objectives.  Position is available during the school year.  Hours are between 2:30 PM and 6:00 PM weekdays.
 
Must be able to pass all required background checks. 
 


Direct Support Professional - Part-time
Positions open for habilitation, companion, and respite services for adults with developmental disabilities in the York/Hanover area. The Arc provides support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to assist them in having maximum opportunities to actively participate in all aspects of community life and to offer programs and services that support them in doing so.

Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:
Assume overall care of individual with intellectual/developmental disability. For some individuals, it will include medical care and for others it will not include any medical care at all. Duties may include assuring the person's safety, assistance with feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility/ambulation; preparing food and housekeeping. For some individuals it will include medical care. For some it will include occasional local transportation.

High school diploma or GED required. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Must be able to pass all background checks. Must be able to work independently. Related experience a plus.
